Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and El Camino has teased his newest project in a recent interview with Variety. For the tenth anniversary of hit show Breaking Bad, we bow to him and his amazing storytelling!

The upcoming show is going to be an Apple TV+ project with its name yet to be revealed, but Gilligan couldn't help and tease one or two things about his newest work.

Vince Gilligan Teases His New Project After Breaking Bad

Apparently, Gilligan wants to explore completely new worlds after spending so much time in the very much beloved Breaking Bad universe. Even though it's still going to take place in Albuquerque, it's going to be a very different version of it.

After the WGA strike ended, Gilligan and his team could finally return to finish the first of two seasons that Apple TV ordered. The new show is in a "mild science fiction" setting, according to Gilligan, with "no crime and no methamphetamine." Instead, it's supposed to be different, it's supposed to be fun, and one of the best things is that Better Call Saul actress Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler) will be there again.

Gilligan also teased a teeny tiny bit about the plot:

The world changes very abruptly in the first episode, and then it is quite different. It’s the modern world — the world we live in — but it changes very abruptly. And the consequences that that reaps hopefully provide drama for many, many episodes after that.

That's the most of what he could share, though – the title of the show is yet to be revealed, as well as a possible release date. Stay tuned to be updated on that front!
