The Callisto Protocol is a horrific narrative-driven third-person survival horror shooter. It's directed by Dead Space series creator Glen Schofield and is considered a spiritual successor to the series.

You take up the role of a pilot who is stuck in Black Iron Prison, where a dangerous outbreak transforms inmates into zombie-like creatures. Discover hidden secrets and mysteries hidden in the eerie shadows.

Onto the next game!

Farming Simulator 22

Farming Simulator 22 launched in November 2021. It includes seasonal changes, gear shifting, production chains for harvested crops and livestock products, new crops like grapes, olives, and sorghum, and more than 400 vehicles and tools from over 100 real agricultural brands.

The name says it all: In Farming Simulator, you become a modern farmer and create your own farm with various farming tasks, including growing crops, taking care of animals, and managing forestry.

Weird West

Weird West is a top-down action role-playing game, which is much closer to immersive sims a la Deus Ex or Dishonored than one might assume at first glance. And that's not a surprise, as director Raphaël Colantonio used to work on the Dishonored games at Arkane Studios.

Weird West is a really unique game, both in terms of gameplay and its titular weird Western vibe. Rarely do games manage to offer as much freedom as this one does, in that regard it's only really rivaled by Baldur's Gate 3. Check it out!

How Does PlayStation Plus Work?

PlayStation Plus has been a simple "one-trick pony" for a long time, but since mid-2022, Sony has split up the program into three different Tiers, which made things a bit more complicated. We took a closer look and made a big comparison between the three PS Plus Tiers – here is everything you need to know: PlayStation Plus Explained: Features, Tier Differences & Prices.

PS Plus October 2023 Essential Games: Download Timeframe

As usual, you can download the latest PlayStation Plus games for about a month (and then keep them for as long as you're a PS Plus subscriber). You can get the PS Plus October titles by claiming them in the PlayStation Store or through the dedicated PS Plus section, from October 3 to November 6.

Extra tip: You can always exactly predict the reveal date and time of the next PlayStation Plus games.
